was a long travel along the centuries across the Christ birth, talking to

The most important exhibit in
Italy dedicated to Christian and Bibilical archaeology. Held in Rimini,
during the annual CL Meeting, the exhibit gave to the visitor the
possibility of a complete travel along the first centuries of Christianity,
from Jesus birth in Israel to the Christian Rome. Trought archaeological
objects and artifacts we meet Pontius Pilatus and Jehuda, but also the
divinities of the pagan Rome, and finally all the symbols of the Christian,
when they still were forced by the pagan roman emperors to pray in the safe
darkness of the catacombs. |
Egyptian archaeology

The top exhibit ever done, held in
Rome, about egyptian queen Cleopatra. On display all the most interesting
artifacts related to this famous lady. Statues, paintings, coins from
private collections, showing her face. And, in addition, many other
archaological objects related to Julius Caesar, Marc Anthony and other
important facts of her time. The best chance to meet Cleopatra. |
Asian archaeology

One of the most interesting
exhibit held in Italy about chinese archaeology. A wide view of the
archaeological discoveries in China in last years, ranging from early bronze
items to Xian warriors. The display was very rich and well done, using a new
tecnique with black cloths. |

This exhibit took place in Rome,
at Oriental Art Museum, and put on display a rich collection of Ghandara art
elements from Pakistan. Fascinating fragments of buddhist stupa's relief
with divinities, Buddha and many other subjects. The artifacts came from
Pakistan archaeological area of Saidu Sharif, excavated by joint mission
italian-pakistan. Great look over Ghandara art. |
Eastern Europe archaeology

A rich exhibit that took place in
Vicenza, the italian city of gold mastecrafts. An important collection of
archaeological jewels, gold and silver, from the most important
archaeological museums and digs in Bulgaria. Varna is the best known, but as
visitors can see there are many other treasure troves in Bulgaria. |

The original title in italian,
from 1000 to 1000, means a long travel along time in Black Sea and Russian
archaeology. The exhibit, held in Rimini during the Chiristian association
CL annual Meeting, gave to visitors the possibility to admire the best of
archaeolgical objects from populations like
Sarmatians (Sarmatae or Sauromatae), Scythians and other from modern Russia.

etruscan archaeology held in Italy in the last 20 years. At Palazzo Grassi,
in Venice, have been set the most interestign and famous archaeological
artifacts talking about etruscans' lost world. Some of the names are: Apollo
from Veio, Orvieto's temple frieze, Francois tomb frescos, Euphronios vase. |

that took place at Villa Adriana, in Tivoli, the great palace of Hadrian the
roman emperor. The exhibit shows many beautifull ormna age portraits, heads
in particular, of the ladies related to Hadrian. Great chance to better
know roman sculpture. |

art of painting in the ancient Rome. Held in Rimini during the annual
Meeting of CL Christian association, the exhibit gave to the visitors the
chance to view in a single place a complete collection of wall paintings and
frescos from ancient roman world. |
